What this tool isn't

Honest limitations

  • The score is based on your self-reported checklist, not on parsing your actual resume. Be honest with yourself — overstating the checklist gives you a score that doesn't match reality.
  • The criteria are widely-cited defaults. Specific employers or industries may weight things differently.

FAQ

Common questions

How is the score calculated?

Each of 12 checklist items has a transparent weight (shown next to each item). Your score is the sum of weights for items you checked, divided by 100. We weight quantified outcomes heaviest because those are what recruiters scan for first.

What's a 'good' resume score?

90+ is elite (ready to send). 75-89 is strong (minor polish). 55-74 is okay (real gaps). Below 55, rework before sending — most likely metrics, keyword match, and bullet quality.

Can I share my score?

Yes — copy the score and breakdown with one click. The breakdown shows exactly what's pulling your score up and down, no black box.
