Role Overview:
As an AWS Cloud Architect & DevOps Engineer at Certinal, you will be responsible for designing and managing AWS infrastructure, administering Linux instances, and implementing DevOps practices to ensure the scalability, security, and reliability of the cloud environment. Your role will involve supporting smooth deployments and automation processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage various AWS services such as EC2, EBS, EFS, S3, RDS, IAM, and CloudFormation/Terraform.
- Architect secure network topologies including VPC, Subnets, NAT Gateways, Transit Gateway, Security Groups, NACLs, and Route 53.
- Implement load balancing and high availability features like ALB, NLB, and Auto Scaling.
- Ensure backup, restore, and disaster recovery strategies are in place utilizing AWS-native tools.
- Manage IAM roles, policies, and user access controls for security and compliance.
- Implement cloud security best practices with tools like KMS, WAF, Shield, GuardDuty, and Config.
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Automate infrastructure deployment using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Implement GitOps practices for deployment and configuration management.
- Administer and optimize Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) on AWS.
- Perform OS patching, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning on Linux servers.
- Implement monitoring solutions with CloudWatch, CloudTrail, ELK/EFK, Prometheus, and Grafana.
