As a Brand & Web Designer working on a contract or freelance basis for a company located in Bengaluru, your role will involve designing web experiences such as microsites, full websites, event landing pages, campaign pages, and web editorials. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating brand identity elements like logos, visual identity systems, brand guidelines, and campaign visual languages. Your primary task will be to interpret briefs, determine the appropriate design solutions, whether it's a comprehensive website or a brand identity, and see the project through to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing full websites from scratch and thinking in terms of design systems rather than individual screens
- Developing logos, constructing visual identity systems, and delivering brand guidelines documents that can be effectively utilized by a client's internal team
- Independently building and launching live web pages using tools like Webflow or Framer
- Demonstrating a keen eye for visual design by focusing on typography, color, layout, spacing, hierarchy, and ensuring a polished and intentional look
- Understanding UX fundamentals such as information architecture, user flows, interaction patterns, responsive behavior, and accessibility basics
- Creating designs that optimize conversion rates, particularly for landing pages and campaign microsites
- Tailoring designs for B2B audiences and recognizing the distinct tones, constraints, and expectations of enterprise and technology brands
- Effectively communicating design concepts to clients, articulating decisions clearly, and managing feedback adeptly
- Presenting multiple creative directions for brand and web projects and guiding clients towards the most effective option
- Developing accurate project scopes and timelines and delivering on them consistently
- Maintaining organized design files with clear naming, proper layers, reusable components, and readiness for collaboration or handoff
- Collaborating effectively with freelancers and developers by providing clear briefs, reviewing output, and ensuring design quality throughout production
- Managing multiple projects concurrently with a high level of organization and self-motivation
Qualifications Required:
- Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and animation/micro-interaction tools
- Familiarity with HTML & CSS, Webflow, Framer, and CMS platforms
- Knowledge of After Effects or Lottie for animated UI elements and analytics awareness
