Quality Control Inspector

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems.
• Utilize advanced quality systems and tools like Calypso, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and data collection software to analyze product conformity.
• Perform regular quality audits in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, FDA regulations, and HACCP standards to ensure compliance across all manufacturing processes.
• Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed records for traceability and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to identify root causes of quality issues and implement corrective actions aligned with CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) and quality management principles.
• Support internal and external quality audits by providing necessary documentation and insights into quality assurance procedures.
• Assist in maintaining compliance with regulatory standards such as FDA regulations and ISO standards through ongoing monitoring and process validation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in quality control or quality inspection within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of quality systems including ISO 9001, ISO 13485, CGMP, and HACCP standards.
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, vision inspection systems, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM).
• Familiarity with industry-specific regulations like FDA requirements for medical devices or food safety standards.
• Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret data accurately and identify deviations from specifications.
• Experience conducting quality audits and implementing corrective actions to improve product quality.
• Strong communication skills for documenting findings clearly and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
