Join our team as a PC Support Technician and play a key role in troubleshooting and repairing various client products, including desktops and laptops.
The PC Support Technician will interact directly with clients to resolve technical issues promptly and accurately while ensuring exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Offer professional customer support for various designated equipment.
- Respond to client inquiries in a courteous and professional manner.
- Accept and address all service calls within established service level agreements.
- Aim to meet customer service satisfaction criteria as outlined in company guidelines.
- Document all administrative tasks related to service calls in accordance with established policies.
- Provide real-time reporting of service calls as per company guidelines.
- Adhere to all established policies, guidelines, and documents to ensure effective service delivery.
- Manage inventory and control of assets efficiently through prompt turnover of parts and equipment as required.
- Accurately report all activities in a timely manner.
- Follow safety policies and guidelines consistently while on duty.
- Perform additional duties as needed to support business operations.
Qualifications
- Technical school certification or equivalent experience required (0-2 years relevant experience).
- Prior customer service experience is advantageous.
Certifications and/or Qualifications
- Maintain all necessary OEM Certifications as directed by management.
- Possess knowledge of relevant software and hardware.
- Hold a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation with valid registration and insurance.
Skills
- Ability to communicate effectively about technical issues with clients.
- Willingness to travel to client locations.
- Capability to drive long distances and occasionally stay overnight in different geographies.
- Able to lift and move computer equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Must own a basic repair tool kit.
