<h3><strong>Senior Product Designer</strong></h3> <p>We're looking for a Senior Product Designer who can shape how internal communicators experience Workshop — and help define what it looks like when great design meets AI. This isn't a role where you execute a spec and hand it off. You'll work across the full arc of a product problem, from the fuzzy early stages to polished final experiences, and you'll bring other designers along with you as you go.</p> <p>You'll be one of the people who helps us figure out what AI-assisted design looks like in practice — not as a buzzword, but as a genuine tool for making better products, faster. You're curious about it, experimenting with it, and excited to push the team forward on it.</p> <p>This role reports to the Head of Product Design. It has no direct reports today, but mentorship and team leadership are a real part of the job.</p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">This is a hybrid role based in Omaha, Nebraska.</span></p> <p><strong>As the Senior Product Designer, you will:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Own design projects end-to-end — from early discovery and fuzzy problem framing through final delivery and iteration</li> <li>Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and cross-functional stakeholders to solve real, meaningful problems — not just make things look good</li> <li>Apply AI to your own workflow and to the products you're designing, and help the rest of the design team do the same</li> <li>Mentor and support other designers, giving them honest feedback, modeling good process, and helping them grow their confidence and craft</li> <li>Hold both the detail and the system at once — sweating the UI while also thinking about patterns, consistency, and product strategy</li> <li>Contribute to a design culture worth being part of: thoughtful critiques, useful documentation, and a bias toward learning out loud</li> </ul> <p><strong>To be successful in this role, you'll need to:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Have 4+ years of product design experience, with meaningful time in a senior or lead capacity</li> <li>Show your work — a portfolio that demonstrates clear thinking, strong taste, and impact that you can actually speak to</li> <li>Be genuinely curious about AI: experimenting with it, learning from it, and helping others do the same — not just nodding along to the trend</li> <li>Move fluidly between detailed UI craft and higher-level product and systems thinking without losing the thread</li> <li>Communicate clearly and collaborate openly — you know how to work with engineers and PMs in a way that feels like partnership, not handoff</li> </ul> <p><strong>Bonus points if you:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Have worked at a startup or agency and know what it means to ship in a fast, resource-constrained environment</li> <li>Have experience with AI products or B2B SaaS</li> <li>Have opinions about where AI is taking design — and can back them up with something more than vibes</li> <li>Have helped non-designers understand and use design systems, AI tools, or new workflows</li> <li>Bring a little delight into the work :)</li> </ul> <p><strong>Compensation and benefits:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Hybrid role based in Omaha, Nebraska</li> <li>Competitive total compensation</li> <li>Stock options</li> <li>Healthcare</li> <li>401(k)</li> <li>Unlimited vacation</li> <li>Flexible work environment</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>About Workshop</strong></p> <p>Workshop is a fast-growing, venture-backed startup based in Omaha, Nebraska and we’re on a mission to create more happy Mondays for employees everywhere.
