Farm Manager/Maintenance

FARM MANAGER/MAINTENANCE Responsibilities:

• Looking for an enthusiastic, dependable, hard-working and trustworthy person to help with farm management, up-keep of farm equipment and fences, horse care, mucking, mowing, landscaping, etc. for a small boarding and training Horse Farm.
• Applicants should be familiar with farm equipment like mowers, weed trimmers, ATV, and leaf blowers.
• Applicants must have good communication skills, and work well with others and by yourself. Farm and/or Landscaping experience is a plus. You will be primarily working by yourself so you should be a good time manager and self-starter. You must also own your own vehicle and have valid license to bring you to and from work.
• This is a part-time position, on average, about 15-30 hours/week. Pay starts at $20/hour. We can also pay a weekly GAS BONUS! Prior Work References from a supervisor are required. Position is open until filled.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in farming, agriculture or landscaping is required
• Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and repairing farm equipment is preferred
• Ability to operate equipment such as ATVs, weed trimmers, and blowers
• Proficiency in using hand tools for various farming tasks
• Physical stamina to perform lifting and work in outdoor conditions

-Must own you own car to bring you to and from work

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour
