Responsibilities
We are looking for a motivated Water Resources Engineer Intern with an interest in groundwater to join our company. Duties and responsibilities vary based on level of experience and project expectations. An intern will generally shadow experienced professionals and participate as a member of a team by contributing to actual projects. Interns are able to apply what they have learned “from the classroom” via experience based-learning.
This internship position will be based in our Sacramento office.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be a third year or graduating Civil or Environmental Engineering, or Hydrogeology student. Specific classes taken should include a mix of the following: Hydrology, Groundwater, Fluid Mechanics, and Water Resources Management or Planning. Experience or interest in hydrology, groundwater, groundwater modeling (MODFLOW, IWFM, etc), and GIS is desired.
