A FULL TIME INCLUSIVE LEARNING SUPPORT TEACHER

For Frank Maddock High School in Drayton Valley, Alberta

Applications are invited for a Probationary Full Time Grade 9-12 Inclusive Learning Support Teacher to start August 24, 2026.

Inclusive Learning Support Teachers are teachers who are knowledgeable about inclusive education and are skilled at facilitating collaboration and sharing best practices. The Inclusive Learning Support Teacher supports the equity of access to quality programming and resources for all students. The Inclusive Learning Support Teacher works with school learning teams to provide students with the opportunity to access learning environments, accommodations and other supports that are the least restrictive and most responsive. The Inclusive Learning Support Teacher must excel at developing and building relationships with staff, students and their families. Preferred candidates will have a minimum of 5 years of successful teaching experience. Training and or experience programming for students with diverse Learning Needs is an asset.

Frank Maddock High School is a grade 9-12 school of approximately 475 students located in Drayton Valley, Alberta, 120 km, southwest of Edmonton. Our school's mission is to support every student on their personal path of self-discovery in preparation for their successful future beyond high school. The successful applicant will be required to provide an original, satisfactory, and recent (within six months) Criminal Record check with vulnerable sector as a condition of employment.
