A FULL TIME PROBATIONARY TEACHER
For Frank Maddock High School in Drayton Valley, Alberta
Applications are invited for a Probationary Full Time Social Studies and Physical Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year.
Duties to commence August 24, 2026.
We are seeking a dedicated and engaged educator who is committed to working collaboratively at Frank Maddock High School ensuring a Powerful Learning Environment to improve the life chances of all students. At FMHS, we emphasize wellness, connections, and a flourishing school culture. Utilizing PLCs and a Collaborative Response mindset, we ensure personalized learning opportunities for all of our students. We are searching for "A Warrior" who "Rises Above All Others."
This position will include both Social Studies courses (grades 9-12) and various high school Physical Education courses. This position will also include Athletic Director duties to support sports and extra-curricular programming at FMHS.
Frank Maddock High School is a grade 9-12 school of approximately 485 students located in Drayton Valley, Alberta, 120 km, southwest of Edmonton. Our school's mission is to support every student on their personal path of self-discovery in preparation for their successful future beyond high school. The successful applicant will be required to provide an original, satisfactory, and recent (within six months) Criminal Record check with vulnerable sector as a condition of employment.
