Job Description
White Spot Hospitality is currently recruiting a Graphic Design & Content Marketing Specialist. Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, this role is responsible for creating engaging visual content, supporting brands across digital platforms, and building meaningful relationships with creators and influencers that strengthen the White Spot and Triple O’s brands.
We're looking for a highly creative graphic designer with a strong portfolio of digital and social content. The ideal candidate combines exceptional visual design skills with an understanding of social media trends and content creation, bringing brand stories to life through compelling creative execution. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a strong eye for visual content, understands current digital and influencer trends, and brings ideas to life through thoughtful creative execution. Working closely with the Digital Marketing Manager, you will support content strategies across White Spot and Triple O’s digital channels including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, email, web, and emerging platforms. This is a hybrid role with generally 3 days per week in the office.
Key Responsibilities:
· Design and produce engaging digital content and creative assets for social media, website, email marketing, promotions and brand campaigns
· Support the creative development process for campaigns and promotions, from concepting and briefing to graphic design execution and final delivery
· Create visually compelling graphics, short-form video content and social-first creative that align with brand standards and current trends
· Ensure all creative assets maintain brand standards, visual consistency and quality across all digital touchpoints
· Manage and grow influencer and creator partnerships, including outreach, relationship management, campaign coordination, gifting and content approvals
· Collaborate with field content creators and restaurant teams to support content production from ideation through final posting across digital channels
· Support the development of social media content calendars aligned with promotions, seasonal campaigns, restaurant openings and key marketing initiatives
· Assist on content shoots including creative direction, props, culinary coordination, behind-the-scenes content capture and day-of logistics
· Monitor social media trends, creator trends, audience behaviour and competitor activity to identify new opportunities for engagement and growth
· Support community engagement efforts and contribute ideas that strengthen brand presence, audience connection and overall digital performance
· Organize and maintain creative files, templates and brand assets to support efficient content production
· Perform additional marketing and creative support tasks as needed within the Marketing department
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have the following:
· Degree or diploma in graphic design, marketing, communications, digital media or a related field
· 2+ years of experience in graphic design, content creation or social media; hospitality experience is considered an asset
· Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and video editing tools
· Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in graphic design, digital marketing creative and social-first content
· Strong understanding of social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn and emerging digital trends
· Experience working with influencers, creators or brand partnerships is considered an asset
· Excellent visual design skills with strong attention to detail, typography, layout and brand consistency
· Ability to take a creative brief and execute high-quality content efficiently and on brand
· Strong written and oral communication skills – both in digital, by phone & in-person
· Photography, videography and motion graphics experience considered an asset
· Valid driver's license and reliable access to a vehicle preferred
· Willingness and ability to travel regularly to restaurant locations and attend occasional off-site meetings, events or activations as required
· Comfortable working collaboratively with internal teams, agency partners, creators and external stakeholders
· Familiarity with Asana, Canva, Survey Monkey, Mailchimp and Office365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
