Job Description
West Coast Adult ADHD Clinic is seeking an experienced and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our specialized virtual clinic providing adult ADHD and mental health care across British Columbia and Ontario.
This is a fully remote role primarily focused on adult ADHD assessment, diagnosis, and medication management within a structured, evidence-based clinical model.
As part of our growing clinic, there are also optional opportunities to contribute to additional service areas, including youth ADHD care and our women’s ADHD and hormone-focused program, for those with interest in expanding their scope of practice.
You will play a key role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care, supporting individuals in improving daily functioning, emotional regulation, and overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive adult ADHD assessments using structured clinical tools and evidence-based guidelines
- Diagnose ADHD and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide medication management, including initiation, titration, and monitoring
- Deliver ongoing follow-up care and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Provide psychoeducation on ADHD, medications, and mental health
- Collaborate with internal clinicians and external providers to support continuity of care
- Complete timely, accurate clinical documentation and prescribing tasks
- Stay current with best practices in ADHD and mental health treatment
Qualifications
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in British Columbia or Ontario (in good standing)
- Authorized to prescribe controlled substances
- Minimum 2–5+ years experience as a Nurse Practitioner in primary care or mental health
- Experience diagnosing and treating adult ADHD an asset
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based ADHD and mental health treatment
- Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote/virtual care environment
- Experience with telehealth or virtual care platforms
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in adult mental health or ADHD-focused care
- Interest in expanding into youth ADHD services and/or women’s health programs
- Experience working in a fast-paced clinic setting
- Comfort working collaboratively within structured workflows and clinical protocols
