Options Execution Trader

We are seeking an Execution Trader with a strong background in institutional options trading to join our team and contribute to best-in-class execution across listed and bespoke derivatives.

The Role

As an Execution Trader, you will play a central role on the desk, managing institutional order flow across equities and options while serving as a trusted partner to clients. You will bring a strong understanding of market structure, execution strategy, and client service, operating with increasing autonomy and accountability. This role is ideal for candidates looking to deepen client engagement while refining execution performance in a fast-paced, agency-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute institutional options orders across listed and electronic markets, including complex and multi-leg strategies, with a focus on achieving best execution.
• Handle high-touch order flow, managing timing, routing, and pricing decisions in dynamic market conditions.
• Provide real-time insight into liquidity, volatility, and market structure to support execution decisions.
• Utilize OMS/EMS platforms and algorithmic tools to efficiently access liquidity across exchanges and alternative venues.
• Manage and monitor open orders, adjusting execution strategy based on market movement and client objectives.
• Coordinate with compliance, operations, and clearing teams to ensure accurate trade reporting and adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Maintain rigorous operational controls, including trade capture, reconciliation, and post-trade processes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of execution workflows, tools, and processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in institutional options execution or agency trading.
• Demonstrated expertise in listed options market structure, including multi-leg and complex order execution.
• Experience handling institutional order flow with a strong track record of execution quality and consistency.
• Familiarity with FLEX options and customized derivatives structures preferred.
• Strong understanding of U.S. options exchanges, routing logic, and liquidity fragmentation.
• Proficiency with OMS/EMS platforms and electronic trading tools.
• Ability to operate with precision and composure in a fast-paced, high-pressure trading environment.
• Strong attention to detail and disciplined approach to risk and execution.
• FINRA Series 7 and 63 required; Series 57 preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
