Role Overview
The Strategic Account Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth by owning, developing, and closing high-value enterprise opportunities with FMCG brands and key distributors in our key markets.
This is a quota-carrying role focused on both new business acquisition and expansion within strategic accounts, operating across complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
You will act as the primary commercial owner of strategic accounts, working closely with product, solutions, and delivery teams to position RedClouds AI-driven platform as a critical enabler of enterprise performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Enterprise Sales & Account Ownership
Own the end-to-end sales cycle across strategic FMCG brands and distributorsBuild and execute account plans for key enterprise customersDevelop and maintain a robust pipeline of high-value opportunitiesDrive new logo acquisition and account expansion within territory
2. Strategic Selling & Deal Execution
Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes, including C-suite engagementIdentify customer pain points (e.g., route-to-market inefficiencies, data fragmentation) and position tailored solutionsDrive deal strategy, negotiation, and closure to meet or exceed quotaManage commercial proposals, pricing, and contract negotiations
3. Customer Value & Solution Positioning
Translate RedClouds AI and data capabilities into clear business outcomes (e.g., revenue growth, margin optimisation, execution visibility)Work closely with technical and product teams to deliver compelling value propositionsLead and coordinate discovery sessions and solution presentations
4. Stakeholder Management
Build trusted relationships with commercial, data, and technology stakeholdersEstablish credibility as a strategic advisor across customer organisationsAlign internal and external stakeholders to ensure deal momentum and success
5. Market & Pipeline Development
Develop deep understanding of the FMCG landscape and distribution ecosystemsIdentify and prioritise high-impact opportunities within the regionLeverage insights to inform go-to-market strategy and sales approach

Skills & Experience
Essential
Proven track record in enterprise sales or strategic account management (typically 510+ years)Experience selling into FMCG, retail, or distribution environmentsDemonstrated success in closing complex, high-value dealsStrong commercial acumen and negotiation skillsAbility to engage and influence senior decision-makers (C-level)
Desirable
Experience selling data platforms, SaaS, or AI-driven solutionsFamiliarity with route-to-market challenges and execution analyticsExperience operating in emerging markets or high-growth environments
