We're a music academy building cognitive skills through fun, private lessons in piano, guitar, voice, violin, and more.
Role Description
This is a part-time in-person role for teachers of Piano, Voice, Guitar, Violin, and Drums at Volo Academy of Music. Teachers will be responsible for planning and conducting music lessons, evaluating student progress, and providing feedback. Additionally, teachers will be expected to develop individualized training programs to meet each student's unique needs and goals. Responsibilities may also include maintaining effective communication with students and their families. We're hiring for our Spruce Grove and Beaumont locations.
Qualifications
- Degree in music majoring in one of the above instruments or RCM 9+, Education, or related field
- Students in progress of one of the above certifications are welcome to apply
- Experience in Lesson Planning and Education
- Skills in Communication and Teaching
- Proficiency in Training and mentoring students
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Previous experience in teaching music is preferred
- Must have reliable transportation to Spruce Grove
