Job Summary

The Software Engineer — Senior Level (Training Technology Lead) will lead the design, integration, and sustainment of training technology solutions, including Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI), Learning Management System (LMS) integrations, and Video Teleconferencing (VTC)-enabled training platforms. The position ensures compliance with TRADOC 350-70-2 standards and supports distributed training environments such as Mobile Training Teams (MTTs).

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead development and deployment of Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI) solutions
• Integrate and sustain Learning Management Systems (LMS)
• Design and support VTC-enabled training platforms for distributed learning
• Ensure training systems comply with TRADOC 350-70-2 requirements
• Implement SCORM and xAPI standards for training content interoperability
• Integrate Defense Collaboration Services (DCS) for secure training delivery
• Support Mobile Training Team (MTT) platforms and remote training capabilities
• Manage TRADOC-compliant training content repositories
• Collaborate with instructional designers, trainers, and mission stakeholders
• Ensure secure, scalable, and reliable training technology operations

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related discipline
• Instructional design or training technology experience required
• 8+ years of software engineering experience
• 5+ years leading training technology solutions
• Experience with IMI development, LMS integration, and VTC-enabled platforms
• Experience supporting TRADOC-compliant training environments
• Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI) development
• SCORM and xAPI compliance
• Defense Collaboration Services (DCS) integration
• Mobile Training Team (MTT) platform support
• TRADOC-compliant training content management

Preferred certifications:

• Vendor VA/AI certification
• ITIL 4
