Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer - Journeyman Level (SharePoint Administration) with deep expertise in SharePoint infrastructure and enterprise web platforms to support mission‑critical Army National Guard systems. This role focuses on managing on‑premises SharePoint environments, administering enterprise web applications, and ensuring secure, reliable platform operations.

This position is ideal for engineers who excel at solving complex infrastructure challenges, automating administrative processes, and maintaining highly available enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain on-premises SharePoint Server farms and custom web portal applications

Perform SharePoint patching, cumulative updates, and platform lifecycle maintenance

Configure site collections, permissions, and enterprise collaboration environments

Develop PowerShell automation for system administration and operational efficiency

Maintain and troubleshoot IIS web server configurations

Diagnose and resolve search indexing and performance issues

Manage SharePoint content databases and platform health

Ensure compliance with web application security standards and best practices

Independently develop technical approaches and present solutions to complex problems

Required Qualifications:

Active Secret Security Clearance

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline

5+ years of progressively responsible experience in enterprise IT

Strong experience with DevOps/DevSecOps practices and tooling

Hands‑on experience with automation, container platforms, and cloud environments

Strong problem‑solving and collaboration skills

Preferred Certifications:

SharePoint Hybrid Certification

Microsoft 365 Certified: Collaboration Engineer

PowerShell‑related certifications or advanced scripting credentials
