Job Description

Role Overview:

You have an exciting opportunity to join Vistra as a Manager/Senior Manager, HRBP based in Mumbai, reporting to the Head of People. Your role will involve providing tactical and strategic consulting on people and organization development strategies to support the business objectives. You will be responsible for employee relations consultation, policy interpretation, performance and compensation management consultation, talent management consultation, organizational design, employee development initiatives, and training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with leadership to align HR strategy with the business strategy
  • Act as a change agent to drive process design and approaches supporting change and transformation
  • Provide day-to-day coaching to leadership on various actions including employee relations, policy interpretation, talent management, organizational design
  • Identify talent opportunities and performance gaps, oversee talent planning, development, and succession planning
  • Manage and resolve employee relations issues, conduct thorough investigations, and provide conflict resolution
  • Maintain knowledge of compliance requirements and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Offer HR policy guidance and interpretation
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention
  • Collaborate with other HR team members to deliver robust HR services
  • Advise leadership on new hires and terminations

Qualification Required:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Human Resources with 12 years of experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven work experience as an HR business partner
  • Excellent people management skills
  • Analytical and goal-oriented
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement
  • Proficiency in Ms Word, Ms Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken
