Job Description
A company is looking for a Scala Senior Software Engineer (Spark) for a remote position.
Key Responsibilities :
Understand client business requirements and negotiate solutions with stakeholders
Write and maintain scalable enterprise-quality software and develop new applications
Manage the complete software development life cycle and support Big Data applications
Required Qualifications :
Advanced Scala development experience, specifically with Scala 2.12 / 2.13
Strong experience with Spark and Kafka, including building data pipelines
Enterprise experience with NoSQL implementation and ETL development
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent work experience
Willingness to learn new technologies and deliver working software
