Frontend Engineer, Design Systems

A company is looking for a Frontend Engineer Design Systems (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain the design system, ensuring exceptional developer experience and scalability

Implement design token architecture for consistency across platforms and codebases

Create comprehensive developer resources, including documentation and tooling, to enhance team adoption

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in building and maintaining design system components in production environments

Strong understanding of component API architecture and composition patterns

Deep proficiency in React, TypeScript, HTML / CSS, and design tokens

Experience collaborating with design teams using Figma workflows

Familiarity with WCAG / ARIA standards for building accessible components
