The Role

VillageWorks Content Company is looking for a versatile 2D Illustrator & Asset Designer for a 3-month contract. This role is focused on the rapid production of high-quality vector art and environmental assets optimized for motion. You will bridge the gap between static design and animation, ensuring that every asset delivered is "production-ready" for our motion graphics team.

Key Responsibilities

• Production Illustration: Rapidly develop 2D characters, props, and environments in
• Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop based on client scripts and briefs.
• Animation Preparation: Create and organize meticulously layered artwork specifically for After Effects animation.
• Storyboarding: Translate concepts into sketched storyboards to align creative direction before moving into high-fidelity production.
• Quality Control: Ensure all assets are error-free, maintaining strict consistency in typography, colour schemes and brand standards.

Technical Requirements

Adobe Creative Suite (Expert): Mastery of Illustrator and Photoshop. You must be an

expert in illustrating flat vector illustrations and assets for animation.

Animation Awareness: Intermediate proficiency in After Effects to ensure layers and

anchor points are optimized for the motion pipeline.

Qualifications & Skills

3+ Years Experience: Proven track record in a studio or agency setting.

Technical Precision: Ability to provide clean, organized files that require minimal

revisions from the motion team.

Fast-Paced Workflow: Capable of meeting tight deadlines for urgent campaign

needs.

Communication: Strong ability to interpret client feedback and collaborate within a

multidisciplinary environment.

Pay: From $26.00 per hour
