Senior Personal Injury Litigation Assistant - Contract position

Brian Vickers, Kim Ashley, Heather Bains and Vista Namdarian are looking for an experienced personal injury litigation assistant to join their team in this busy department. We invite individuals with a minimum of 5 years of experience in personal injury litigation who are looking for continued learning and growth to apply.

This position is being offered on a contract basis, with the potential for permanent employment.

Duties

• Preparing legal documents, including pleadings, agreements and correspondence.
• Managing and organizing client files, ensure accurate and up-to-date information is maintained.
• Scheduling meetings, hearings and court appearances.
• Responding to client inquiries

Requirements

• Detail oriented, with superior organizational skills and the ability to prioritize.
• The ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
• Willingness to take on tasks as needed.
• Experience with Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Experience with Clio (an asset).

Salary is competitive and commensurate with your ability and experience.
