Our Community Engagement and 9-1-1<br>systems power Communication Centers that keep communities safe.<br>In this role, you own the delivery of detailed product strategy for a focused set of solutions,<br>managing the backlog, setting feature priorities, and analyzing product usage and adoption<br>data. This position is both strategic and hands-on — balancing product direction with day-to-day<br>prioritization to ensure our products continue to lead the industry.</p> <p><strong>What You Do</strong></p> <p><strong>Setting Strategy</strong></p> <ul> <li>Define the product's vision and strategic direction, ensuring alignment with company<br>objectives and customer needs.</li> <li>Clearly articulate the business case and customer value for each initiative or feature.</li> <li>Serve as the recognized subject matter expert on the product, the market, and the<br>competitive landscape.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Defining the Roadmap</strong></p> <ul> <li>Translate product strategy into actionable plans, determining what to build and when to release it.</li> <li>Build and maintain a detailed development roadmap for internal teams and a high-level roadmap for executives and customers.</li> <li>Gather input from customers, internal stakeholders, and market research to shape the roadmap.</li> <li>Partner with engineering and cross-functional teams to ensure delivery meets market needs and quality standards.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Evaluating and Prioritizing Features</strong></p> <ul> <li>Collect and curate ideas from customers, sales, and internal stakeholders for the backlog.</li> <li>Prioritize features by balancing user value, development effort, time to market, and<br>competitive differentiation.</li> <li>Track and evaluate product performance including feature adoption, customer<br>satisfaction, and churn/renewal drivers.</li> <li>Run trials, pilots, and MVPs to validate assumptions before broader launches.</li> <li>Perform ongoing market and competitor research.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Stakeholders and Key Work Partners</strong></p> <ul> <li>Collaborate internally with engineering, sales, marketing, partner success, support,<br>implementation, finance, legal, and the leadership team.</li> <li>Engage externally with customers, end-users, and partners to gather feedback and<br>ensure the product meets real-world needs.</li> <li>Promote the product through training, sales enablement, webinars, and direct customer interactions.<br><br></li> </ul> <p><strong>What You Bring</strong></p> <p><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business, or related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CSPO, SAFe PO) are a plus.</li> <li>A minimum of 5–7 years of experience in a Product Management role.</li> <li>Proven experience overseeing elements of the product development lifecycle.</li> <li>Strong understanding of Agile frameworks, particularly Scrum or Kanban.</li> <li>Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar.</li> <li>Highly effective cross-functional team collaboration skills.</li> <li>Exceptional writing and presentation skills.</li> <li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Asset Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience with Aha! Product Management software.</li> <li>Familiarity with software engineering concepts such as APIs, databases, and cloud</li> <li>Experience with Call Center software such as ACD, IVR and AI bots.</li> <li>Demonstrated experience using AI tools to accelerate product workflows, including<br>requirements generation, research synthesis, and user story drafting.
