Role Overview
The Manager – B2B Sales (Cotton) will be responsible for driving market development (International & Domestic), customer acquisition, buyer engagement, and sales growth for regenerative cotton and cotton-based products. The role acts as a key bridge between buyers, farmers, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure sustainable commercial growth and long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Market Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with brands, retailers, textile manufacturers, exporters, and cotton buyers.
- Expand sales footprint across key geographies and customer segments.
- Drive revenue growth through strategic sales planning and execution.
- Promote the unique value proposition of regenerative cotton in competitive markets.
Buyer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with buyers and strategic partners.
- Conduct buyer meetings, negotiations, presentations, and contract discussions.
- Ensure excellent account management and repeat business.
- Act as the primary point of contact for buyer queries and engagement.
Market Intelligence & Strategy
- Track market trends, pricing, consumer preferences, and competitor activities.
- Develop market insights and sales reports to support business decisions.
- Build partnerships with textile mills, fashion brands, exporters, and sustainable fiber traders.
Supply Chain Coordination
- Collaborate with operations, certification, finance, and logistics teams for smooth order execution.
- Ensure traceability, transparency, and alignment between buyer requirements and production.
- Support timely fulfillment and forecasting accuracy.
Reporting & MIS
- Maintain CRM, buyer database, and sales dashboards.
- Prepare MIS reports and track key performance metrics.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Agribusiness, Textile Management, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field. (BTech & MBA)
- Minimum 4 years of experience in cotton sales, textile sales, or agri-commodity sales. Good knowledge of International Markets, Brands, Premium product pricing knowledge, Quality of cotton products (finished and unfinished) etc
- Exposure to sustainable/regenerative cotton or textile value chains preferred.
- Strong business development, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and business communication.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Knowledge of local language is a plus.
