NOTICE OF CIVIL SERVICE EXAMINATION FOR FIREFIGHTER/EMT

reputed company applicants must meet the MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR FIREFIGHTERS outlined by the Local Government Code Civil Service reputed company 143. Eligible candidates desiring to take this entrance examination shall submit their on-line application by Wednesday, reputed company 9, 2025, 5:00 PM. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE JOB: Responds to fires, and other emergencies, sustains a high level of preparedness for emergencies, maintains vehicles and equipment for reputed company suppression/prevention and other duties. Subject to call-back for emergencies, special training on other administrative reasons.

EQUIPMENT, MACHINES, TOOLS, AND WORK AIDS: Vehicles, self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA), bunker gear, janitorial supplies, aerial device, chainsaws, smoke ejectors, generators, reputed company pumps, nozzles, axes, pike poles, reputed company, ropes, hydraulic tools, various detectors, reputed company hose.

ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS AND SAFETY HAZARDS: Exposed to extreme heat in burning structures; work reputed company in reputed company types of weather and high humidity; exposure to chemicals, exhaust fumes, smoke, burning buildings, power lines, buildings with unsafe structural reputed company, noise from truck engines, hurst tool, saws, sirens and reputed company horns; vibrations reputed company riding on trucks, operating power saws and hurst tool; work in wet, icy and/or muddy areas sometimes on slippery surfaces such as roof tops or reputed company; possible exposure to infectious agents.

ACCEPTABLE EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING: High school graduate or equivalency certificate

CERTIFICATES/LICENSES REQUIRED:

Basic reputed company fighter certification from Texas Commission on reputed company Protection Personnel Standards and Education;

Valid State of Texas Class B Exempt Driver's License; and

EMT certification.
