Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Transport Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting child passengers to designated locations such as public schools while providing excellent customer service. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to drive a school bus, and a commitment to maintaining safety standards.

Responsibilities

Safely operate vehicles such as buses, to transport child passengers to and from Millville public schools.
Communicate effectively with passengers regarding schedules, routes, and any changes.
Provide exceptional customer service by assisting passengers with boarding and disembarking, as well as handling inquiries.
Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the vehicle by performing regular inspections and basic maintenance.
Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
Document any incidents or issues that arise during transport and report them as required.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and timely transport.

Experience

Previous experience in commercial driving, shuttle driving, or bus driving is preferred. Class B license obtained with passengers and school bus endorsement.
Strong customer service skills with a focus on communication and interpersonal interactions.
Ability to maintain composure in challenging situations while ensuring passenger safety and comfort.
A valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type being operated is required.
