You Are
We are seeking an experienced Program / Service Delivery Manager with strong expertise in DevOps and Kubernetes operations within Azure environments.
The Opportunity
- Program & Service Delivery Management
- Lead program and service delivery for large-scale DevOps and Kubernetes platforms.
- Manage operational delivery across multiple teams ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance of cloud platforms.
- Coordinate with engineering, infrastructure, and operations teams to deliver stable and secure services.
- Azure & Kubernetes Platform Oversight
- Provide technical oversight and governance for Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environments.
- Ensure operational excellence across Azure networking, Istio service mesh, Azure Firewall, and Kubernetes cluster management.
- Support and guide teams through cluster upgrades, disaster recovery (DR) planning, and platform lifecycle management.
- Operational Excellence & Governance
- Define and manage Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and Operational Level Agreements (OLAs).
- Monitor service performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to ITIL-based service management practices.
- Resource & Vendor Management
- Manage resource planning, team onboarding, and workforce allocation for platform operations.
- Coordinate with vendors, partners, and internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Drive collaboration between cross-functional teams across development, operations, and security.
- Incident & Problem Management
- Lead incident management, escalation handling, and major incident response.
- Conduct post-incident reviews (PIRs) and ensure high-quality Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Implement preventive measures to reduce recurring incidents and improve platform stability.
- Stakeholder Communication
- Serve as the primary communication bridge between engineering teams and business stakeholders.
- Provide regular service reports, operational updates, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure transparency in service delivery performance and operational metrics.

What You Need
- 10+ years of experience in program management, service delivery, or platform operations.
- Strong experience managing DevOps and Kubernetes-based platforms.
- Hands-on understanding of:
- Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
- Azure Networking
- Istio Service Mesh
- Azure Firewall
- Experience managing cluster upgrades, DR planning, and operational lifecycle management.
- Proven expertise in SLA/KPI/OLA governance and reporting.
- Experience in incident management, problem management, and RCA reviews.
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in large-scale enterprise cloud environments.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and service management frameworks.
- Experience managing distributed DevOps teams and vendor ecosystems.
- Azure certifications (preferred).
Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.
Role Location: Remote-Canada
Compensation Range: $115,000-$144,000
Benefits
Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They and their dependents residing in Canada are eligible for Supplemental Healthcare coverage, as well as Company-paid Employee Only basic life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment coverage.
Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year). They and their dependents residing in Canada are eligible for Supplemental Healthcare coverage, as well as Company-paid Employee Only basic life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment coverage.
Part-time regular and temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year).
All Canadian employees who work in a province, territory or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
