Role description

Role: SAP BODS, HANA / ETL Developer

Experience: 5 – 10 Years

Location: Bangalore / Mumbai

Notice Period: Immediate Joiners Preferred

Must-Have Skills & Experience

SAP & Data Warehouse Expertise

• Strong knowledge of SAP modules such as FICO, BRIM, P2P, and their data structures.
• Solid understanding of SAP HANA architecture and data modeling concepts.
• Proven experience in Data Warehouse and ETL development.
• Hands-on expertise in ETL tools such as SAP BODS (BusinessObjects Data Services) or similar tools.
• Experience designing and implementing ETL transformation processes using multiple data sources such as:
• SAP systems
• Salesforce (SFDC)
• SuccessFactors
• Other enterprise data sources

SAP HANA Development

• Experience in designing, developing, and implementing SAP HANA solutions.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• SQL scripting
• Stored procedures
• Data models in SAP HANA
• Experience developing and maintaining HANA Views, including:
• Attribute Views
• Analytic Views
• Calculation Views
• Experience implementing data provisioning and replication scenarios.

Problem Solving & Performance Optimization

• Ability to solve complex data integration and transformation problems.
• Experience troubleshooting data discrepancies, ETL failures, and performance issues.
• Strong skills in query tuning and performance optimization in SAP HANA.
• Ability to analyze problems and apply best practices to implement efficient ETL solutions.

Collaboration & Delivery

• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and understand business requirements.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development best practices.
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and deliver high-quality work.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience working with enterprise data integration architectures.
• Exposure to multiple enterprise systems and cloud data platforms.
• Knowledge of data governance, data quality frameworks, or metadata management.
• Experience in large-scale enterprise data warehouse implementations.
• SAP certifications, advanced degree, or relevant technical certifications are preferred.
