As a Developer III - Software Engineering at UST, you will have the opportunity to contribute to impactful transformations by designing and implementing responsive UIs using React, building and maintaining RESTful or GraphQL APIs in Python, containerizing applications with Docker, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting performance, scalability, and security issues in production systems.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Design and implement responsive UIs using React (Hooks, Context, Redux or similar).
- Build and maintain RESTful or GraphQL APIs in Python (Flask, FastAPI, Django).
- Containerize applications and services with Docker; write Dockerfiles and manage images.
- Collaborate with product, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality features end-to-end.
- Troubleshoot performance, scalability, and security issues in production systems.
- *Qualifications Required:**
- 3+ years of professional experience with React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
- 3+ years of experience in building backend services in Python.
- Proficiency in writing Dockerfiles and running containers in development/CI workflows.
- Familiarity with Generative AI frameworks or APIs (e.g., OpenAI GPT, HuggingFace Transformers).
- Solid understanding of HTTP, web security, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments and using Git version control.

- Experience deploying containers on Kubernetes (EKS, GKE, AKS).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
