Designer III - Motion Designer

As a Motion Graphics Designer at UST, you will be responsible for creating cutting-edge motion graphics using Adobe After Effects. Your role will involve providing a creative vision to the editing process, infusing your unique style to produce beautifully composed work. You will be tasked with creating 2D and 3D animations from scratch and playing a vital role in the original creative vision of each project. This includes pitching original concepts, developing storyboards, and/or treatment books.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design cutting edge motion graphics using Adobe After Effects
• Provide creative vision to the editing process, incorporating your style to create beautifully composed work
• Create 2D and 3D animations from scratch
• Play a key role in the original creative vision of each project, including pitching original concepts, and developing storyboards and/or treatment books

Qualifications Required:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in creating and animating motion graphics (Adobe After Effects and Premiere experience mandatory)
• Minimum 2 years of experience working directly with clients/teams to gather requirements, create storyboards, pitch design concepts, iterate on content, and deliver the final product
• Strong sense of editorial timing and direction
• History of telling compelling stories through unique creative assets and visual interactions
• Proficiency in using AI tools for asset creation

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in editing video assets (Premiere preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of Adobe After Effects experience
• Experience in designing and animating for 360/immersive video content
• Color correction experience
• Working knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator
