Job Description

We’re looking for NOC Engineers at both the Tier 1 and Tier 2 levels to join our operations team!

The Network Operations Center (NOC) team is a central part of our technical environment, working closely with internal teams to manage deployment procedures, deploy code, and handle configuration changes. We provide support for various mission-critical applications and services to ensure high availability and seamless performance. If you are a problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, cloud-based production environment, we’d like to hear from you.

At Conectys, we’re not your typical BPO - we’re rewriting the playbook. Our blend of next-gen AI, CX management, content moderation, and data annotation powers some of the hottest industries on the planet: Social Media, Streaming, Technology, Retail & eCommerce, Gaming, Autonomous Cars, Healthcare, and more.

What You’ll Do:

Keep Things Running: Collaborate with internal teams to deploy software and configuration changes to servers, ensuring everything runs smoothly with no service disruption.

Monitor & Respond: Keep a close eye on system health and performance, responding promptly to incidents and alerts to keep our stakeholders in the loop.

Continuous Improvement: Create and maintain documentation for daily processes, helping the whole team learn and grow together.

Operational Support: Provide daily support for production systems and services running on the cloud.

Stay Flexible: Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation (including nights, weekends, and overtime) to ensure our services are always up and running.

For our Tier 2 candidates, you’ll also:

Lead & Mentor: Assist in guiding fellow NOC engineers and leading project-based work to ensure timely completion.

Drive Innovation: Review workflows to find improvements and use automation to make our routine tasks more efficient.

Problem Solve: Analyze troubleshooting patterns to find long-term resolutions rather than just quick fixes.

What We’re Looking For:

Tier 1 Candidates:

Experience: 1–3 years of experience in server and application support.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is mandatory.

Core Skills: Knowledge of Linux/Unix administration, familiarity with cloud technologies, and experience with ticketing tools like Jira/Confluence.

Mindset: A strong team player who can multitask and perform well under pressure.

Tier 2 Candidates:

Experience: 3+ years of experience in a NOC or Network Support environment.

Advanced Tech: Proficiency in automation (to streamline day-to-day tasks) and experience with monitoring solutions like Grafana.

Technical Deep Dive: Experience with database technologies (Redis, MySQL) and web services (Apache, Nginx).

Infrastructure: Hands-on experience supporting Kubernetes environments and microservices architecture.

Nice to Have

Familiarity with incident reviews and root cause analysis.

A knack for networking troubleshooting (LAN, WAN, DNS, SSH, etc.).

Experience partnering with cross-functional teams to build best-practice monitoring solutions.
