Animator Needed for School of Life Project in Pursuit of Wonder Style

We're producing a series of short-form documentary films exploring consciousness, perception, and the nature of the mind. Think Pursuit of Wonder, School of Life — clean, minimal animation paired with precise, story-driven narration. No motion graphics. No corporate explainer energy. Cinematic restraint.

We're looking for an animator who can bring that aesthetic to life for our first film — approximately 8–12 minutes.

What we need:

A animator comfortable working in a minimal, illustrative style. Simple character silhouettes, abstract environmental storytelling, smooth transitions, muted but intentional color palette. The tone is contemplative, intelligent, slightly melancholic. The work should feel hand-considered, not templated.

You're a good fit if:

You have work that looks and feels like Pursuit of Wonder or similar channels

You understand pacing — knowing when to hold a shot matters as much as the drawing itself

You can take a narrated script and build a visual world around it without over-explaining

You've worked on independent or passion projects before and understand the creative standard that requires

Project scope:

One film to start, with potential for three more if the collaboration works. Script will be provided. Timeline is flexible for the right person.
