Job Description
Job Description
We are looking for an Amazon SEO specialist with hands-on experience across multiple marketplaces, not just product copywriting. You know the difference between keyword research that looks thorough in a spreadsheet and a strategy that improves discoverability and conversion. You are comfortable working within an existing framework, delivering optimised listings, integrated keyword strategies, and content a multilingual team can maintain and scale. This is an execution-focused role — our ideal candidate owns the work, not the strategy.
Responsibilities
- Own Amazon keyword research and SEO strategy, identifying and prioritising the right keywords per product and marketplace, and ensuring correct integration across all PDP content.
- Coordinate Amazon copy optimisation and execution across titles, bullet points, and product descriptions across all active marketplaces.
- Ensure all PDP text content adheres to Amazon copy rules, best practices, and compliance requirements, including sensitivity around product claims.
- Collaborate closely with the E-commerce Content & Brand Specialist, Head of Marketplace, and Amazon Growth Team, including working with translators to adapt content across language markets.
- Continuously identify and implement workflow optimisations, replacing manual or repetitive processes with smarter, more scalable ways of working.
- Support the adoption of AI tools and automations across SEO and copy workflows, from prompt design to AI assisted drafting.
- Optimise for GEO, ensuring product content is structured to perform in AI-powered search surfaces.
- Collaborate closely with the E-commerce Content & Brand Specialist, Head of Marketplace, and AMZ Growth Team, including working with translators to adapt content across language markets.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Amazon SEO copywriting, specifically integrating keywords naturally and strategically into existing copy frameworks while maintaining readability and brand tone.
- Hands-on experience with Amazon keyword research, including tool proficiency (Helium 10 or equivalent).
- Complete fluency in English with exceptional written grammar, vocabulary, and editorial precision.
- Strong understanding of strategic keyword placement for conversion and discoverability.
- Up-to-date knowledge of Amazon PDP content rules, best practices, and algorithm ranking factors.
- Understanding of compliance and claim sensitivity in product copy.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong quality control mindset.
- Strong coordination and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple listings, markets, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently while following structured processes and implementing feedback efficiently.
- Proactive communication and responsiveness.
- Experience working across multiple Amazon marketplaces and managing translations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with sustainable or eco-friendly brands.
- Experience writing short-form marketing copy with character or format constraints, including benefit-led messaging and consistent tone of voice.
- Knowledge of marketing compliance and product claim regulations.
- Educational background in marketing, copywriting, languages, or communications.
Skills assessment
To assess the fit, we'll invite shortlisted candidates to complete a TestGorilla assessment covering English language proficiency, Amazon SEO and keyword research knowledge, Amazon PDP best practices, and attention to detail.
In Your Application, Please Include:
