Job Description
We are an architectural lighting manufacturer looking to produce a series of short (20–30 second) 3D animated videos demonstrating how our lighting products are installed, adjusted, and used.
These videos will be used for customer education, sales support, and product marketing.
We are looking for a freelancer who can not only create high-quality animations, but also help us build a repeatable, efficient system for producing many similar videos over time.

Project Approach & Budget:
- First video (including environment setup, style, and reusable assets): ~$900 USD target
- Subsequent videos (using the same environment and system): ~$500 USD target per video
Our goal is to standardize the environment, lighting, camera angles, and animation style so that future videos are faster and more cost-effective to produce.

Scope of Work:
- Create short 3D animations (20–30 seconds each)
- Show step-by-step installation of lighting fixtures (mounting, wiring, adjustments, etc.)
- Build a clean, minimal, reusable environment (e.g., ceiling types, mounting scenarios)
- Establish a consistent visual style for all future videos
- Focus on clarity and realism without unnecessary complexity

- SolidWorks assembly files (preferred) or STEP files for all products
- Reference materials and guidance on installation steps
- Example videos and feedback throughout the process

Key Requirements:
- Experience in product or technical 3D animation (mechanical / industrial preferred)
- Ability to create realistic materials and lighting (metal finishes, lenses, diffusers)
- Strong understanding of how to visually explain physical processes
- Ability to work efficiently and think in terms of reusable assets and templates
- Good communication and responsiveness to feedback

- Ability to import and work with CAD files (SolidWorks / STEP)
