Job Requirements
Provides operational leadership and strategic oversight for multidisciplinary practices across multiple locations and care settings. Responsible for complex procedural operations, provider integration, financial performance, strategic growth initiatives, workflow redesign, and leadership oversight.

- Provides operational oversight for multiple practices, service lines, or departments to ensure alignment with organizational goals, performance expectations, and patient experience standards.
- Partners with leadership to implement strategic initiatives, operational improvements, and growth opportunities across assigned areas.
- Leads, coaches, and develops operational leaders, fostering accountability, professional growth, and succession planning.
- Monitors operational performance through key performance indicators, identifies trends, and develops action plans to improve quality, access, financial performance, and patient satisfaction.
- Oversees staffing models, workforce planning, and resource allocation to ensure operational efficiency and support organizational growth.
- Collaborates with providers and clinical leaders to optimize workflows, improve patient access, and enhance provider productivity.
- Leads operational readiness and implementation efforts for new programs, service expansions, provider onboarding, and practice acquisitions or integrations.
- Partners with Finance to develop, monitor, and manage operational budgets, productivity targets, and expense management initiatives.
- Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, organizational policies, and risk management expectations.
- Facilitates resolution of complex operational, patient, provider, and staff concerns.
- Serves as a liaison between frontline operations and senior leadership, communicating priorities, barriers, risks, and opportunities.
- Leads performance improvement initiatives utilizing data-driven methodologies to improve operational outcomes and organizational effectiveness.
- Oversees execution of standardized operational processes and promotes consistency across assigned practices and departments.
- Participates in organizational committees, strategic planning efforts, and cross-functional workgroups representing ambulatory operations.
- Supports change management efforts by driving engagement, communication, and adoption of new workflows, technologies, and organizational initiatives.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Work Experience
Education & Experience - Required
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Five (5) years of progressive operational leadership experience in ambulatory healthcare operations.
- Three (3) years overseeing multidisciplinary operational teams.
Education & Experience - Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in business or healthcare management
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Advanced understanding of ambulatory care workflows, including procedural and specialty practice operations.
- Deep knowledge of high-complexity processes such as prior authorizations, surgery scheduling/coordination, and imaging workflows.
- Ability to develop and implement operational strategies that align with organizational goals and growth initiatives.
- Skill in budgeting, financial analysis, productivity management, and performance optimization within a physician practice setting.
- Ability to lead and standardize operations across multiple locations, including specialty integration and redesign efforts.
- Skill in leading operational redesign, workflow optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma principles).
- Ability to effectively engage physicians and clinical leaders to drive alignment, performance, and operational success.
- Skill in managing interdisciplinary teams and collaborating across clinical, administrative, and support functions.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and compliance requirements affecting physician practices.
- Ability to use data, metrics, and operational insight to identify issues, make decisions, and improve outcomes.
