About This Opportunity
We are partnering with a well-established, community-focused insurance brokerage to recruit a Customer Success Manager to support and grow an existing book of business. This role is ideal for a client-focused professional who thrives on building long-term relationships, delivering a high standard of service, and ensuring clients feel truly supported at every touchpoint.
This opportunity exists due to growth within the brokerage, driven by the transfer of established client books. While it is primarily a service-oriented role, it also offers exposure to cross-selling and referrals. If you have built your career around clients and know what it takes to earn and keep their trust, we want to hear from you.
We are open to candidates from insurance, financial services, banking, wealth management, or any professional services environment where client relationship management and service excellence are at the core of the work.
What You Will Be Doing
- Serve as the primary point of contact for an assigned portfolio of clients, responding to inquiries, changes, and service requests with a high degree of care and accuracy.
- Manage an existing book of business through renewals, endorsements, policy changes, and new transactions.
- Review client accounts to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Process updates including coverage adjustments, vehicle additions, address changes, and property modifications.
- Support renewal cycles and ensure timely, accurate policy issuance.
- Identify and act on cross-selling opportunities where appropriate, such as bundling coverages.
- Stay current on relevant products, policy changes, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain thorough and accurate records within brokerage or CRM systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver a seamless, professional client experience.
Who We Are Looking For
You do not need to come from insurance to be considered for this role. What matters most is that you have a genuine track record of delivering outstanding client experiences and building lasting professional relationships. Backgrounds we are actively considering include:
- Insurance brokerage or underwriting (personal lines, commercial lines, farm, or life insurance)
- Banking or financial services (account management, client advisory, relationship banking)
- Wealth management or financial planning support
- Any professional services role where trust-based, long-term client relationships were central to your work
Candidates with an active RIBO Level 1 license will be strongly prioritized. Candidates without a license will be considered if they demonstrate a strong service background and the ability to obtain licensing. We are willing to support the right candidate through that process.
What You Bring
- A client-first mindset with a professional, warm communication style
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities with accuracy and calm
- Experience managing or servicing client accounts, either in insurance or an adjacent industry
- Comfort working with technology and software platforms, including Microsoft Office and CRM or brokerage systems
- A detail-oriented approach and genuine care for getting things right
- RIBO Level 1 license preferred; candidates without licensing will be considered
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary of $55,000 to $75,000, depending on experience and licensing
- Fully employer-paid extended health benefits, health spending account, and wellness program
- Defined contribution pension plan
- Paid vacation
- Generous paid personal and sick days

You will work with a loyal, established client base and be supported by an experienced, close-knit team that values professionalism and quality service. Work model flexibility is available for experienced candidates. We are open to hybrid and remote arrangements depending on your background and fit.
