Role Description This full-time Licensed Insurance Agent role is a hybrid position based in Ontario, Canada, with a combination of in-office and work-from-home responsibilities. The Licensed Insurance Agent will meet with prospective and existing clients to assess their insurance and financial needs, explain product options, and recommend suitable coverage solutions. Daily activities include prospecting for new business, following up on leads, preparing quotes, and processing applications and policy changes. The role involves maintaining detailed client records, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards, and collaborating with internal team members and carriers. The Licensed Insurance Agent will also provide ongoing client service, including policy reviews, claims support, and proactive outreach to ensure client satisfaction and retention.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated proficiency in insurance-focused skills, including Insurance, Insurance Sales, and Insurance Brokerage.
• Solid understanding of Finance principles relevant to insurance and wealth management solutions.
• Strong Customer Service skills with a client-centric approach and the ability to build long-term relationships.
• Current valid insurance license in Ontario (e.g., LLQP or equivalent), or eligibility and willingness to obtain it within a defined timeframe.
• Proven experience in a sales, advisory, or financial services role, preferably within an insurance or brokerage environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in clear, accessible language.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and the capacity to handle multiple client cases simultaneously.
• Comfort with digital tools and CRM systems; ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment (office and remote).
• Post-secondary education in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field is an asset.
• Commitment to ethical conduct, regulatory compliance, and ongoing professional development.
