Job Summary:Retail Operations Manager

In the capacity of Retail Operations Manager, you will function as the equivalent of a business proprietor for the store. Your duties will involve overseeing diverse aspects of the store, such as product placement, financial management, team development, and customer satisfaction, in order to achieve and exceed sales objectives. Your leadership is instrumental in upholding operational standards and delivering a shopping atmosphere that adheres to the recognized Under Armour brand principles.

Retail Operations:

  • Lead the coordination of shipments, inventory processing, organizing store layouts, adjusting prices, and restocking merchandise
  • Sustain daily efficiency in operations while meeting audit and shrinkage control requirements
  • Handle payroll operations, fine-tune staffing arrangements, and manage scheduling to maximize store productivity
  • Lead the timely implementation of visual displays
  • Assess how well items are selling and make alterations to the store layout to better showcase the products that are performing well
  • Maintain a safe and organized environment for selling and work activities

Qualifications

  • Attaining advanced skills in communication, numeracy, and literacy
  • Capable in both English and the local vernacular
  • Adept at interpreting and drawing insights from data and analytics
  • Comprehensive knowledge of employment legislation and regulatory requirements
  • Advanced emotional intelligence coupled with adept interpersonal capabilities
  • Knowledgeable in computers and related technology
  • Demonstrates strong time-management and organizational skills
  • Illustrated adept critical thinking and effective troubleshooting in rapidly changing contexts

Requirements

  • The position necessitates a background with at least three years of management
  • Experience in managing a sports, apparel, or footwear retail store for a minimum of one year is essential
  • Readiness to work during non-traditional hours, such as nights, weekends, and festive periods
  • Being capable of hoisting or transferring items that are up to 25 pounds (around 12 kilograms) in weight
  • Able to stand, walk, and move for extended periods with short breaks
  • Having authorization to enter and navigate all sections of the store, such as the sales floor, stockroom, and register area
