Purpose of Role
The Associate Technical Designer provides support to the Technical Design Manager through basic technical proficiencies and organization. This entails all aspects of our daily operations and functions.
Your Impact
- Support one or more product categories from design concept to production garment
- Assist in building technical packages including Bill of Materials, specs, construction, etc.
- Assist with ensuring category standards in fit consistency through block management, and construction details
- Assist with fit sessions on live models and processing fit comments
- Communicate with overseas vendors
- Assist with daily and seasonal tracking of prototype samples
- Conduct graphic strike review sessions
- Review daily and seasonal tracking of strikes. Provides cross functional teams with accurate tracking data.

Qualifications
- Typically, no previous experience with Bachelor's degree or typically 4 years of relevant work experience without degree
- Contribute to the full lifecycle of one or more product categories, from design concept through production, including technical package creation (BOMs, specs, construction).
- Assist in fit sessions on live models, maintain fit consistency through block and construction standards, and manage tracking of prototype and strike samples.
- Communicate with overseas vendors and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely updates throughout the development process.
- Utilize Adobe Illustrator and PDM/PLM systems to support design and development tasks; conduct graphic strike reviews and maintain tracking data.
- Demonstrate attention to detail, problem-solving, customer service, teamwork, and a proactive approach to learning and development; team sport experience is a plus.
Workplace Location
- Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Baltimore office.
- Work Schedule: This role follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring 4 days in-office per week.

Base Compensation
$55,000.00-$75,000.00 USD
Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
