Job Duties and Responsibilities of Hair Stylist:

• Provide a range of hair and beauty treatments such as cutting, styling, coloring, hair treatments, extensions, makeup services, and ear piercing.
• Achieve or surpass targets in service and sales by delivering outstanding customer experiences and suggesting products.
• Showcase a strong understanding of the business by actively contributing to promotional and marketing strategies within the salon environment.
• Keep yourself updated on the latest developments in the industry to improve customer interactions during consultations.
• Strengthen guest connections by offering tailored consultations and expert suggestions.
• Work together with fellow beauty experts to offer a holistic client journey throughout different treatments.
• Uphold adherence to safety, cleanliness, and organizational protocols, in addition to state board mandates.
• Ensure the salon and allocated sections are kept clean and well-prepared.
• Employ reservation platforms to promote frequent returns and engagement in on-site activities.

Qualifications and Experience of Hair Stylist:

• A cosmetology license is mandatory for this position.
• Experience in a salon setting is highly desirable.
• Skill in haircutting, hair coloring, styling, treatments, makeup, and associated beauty services.
• Familiarity with professional gear, instruments, and components used in the industry.
• Proficient in effective communication and adept at fostering enduring connections with customers.
• Capability to operate autonomously and cooperate effectively in a group setting.
• Ability to work a range of hours, including nights, weekends, and holiday shifts.

Salary:

The hourly pay spans from $11.25 to $16.80.
