Shipping & Receiving Clerk

The Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for insuring accurate account of product received and shipment of product related to customer orders.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Ensures all transfers are packaged and shipped by the proper carrier.
• Ensures all shipments to customers are packaged and shipped by the proper carrier.
• Processes merchandise and paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
• Performs inventory counts as requested by Inventory Control.
• Completes assigned tasks as supervisor.
• Duties may include possible driving to deliver parts as needed

Qualifications and Skills

• Must have a valid driver's license with a driving record (MVR) that meets company's requirements.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of whole and fractional numbers.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively.
• Ability to use a computer terminal.
• Forklift certified or ability to become forklift certified.
• Able to stand/walk for long period of time during work shift.
• Capable of manually handle (lift, push, pull) items that weigh up to 50 lbs.
• Bend & stoop while handling product
