ROLE
The Procurement & Estimating Manager plays a critical role in supporting Trophy Rail’s operational and project execution objectives. This position is responsible for leading estimating functions, developing procurement strategies, and ensuring efficient purchasing operations while maintaining strong vendor relationships and cost controls.
DUTIES AND ABILITIES:
- Oversee all estimating activities, including cost analysis, budgeting, and bid preparation
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company goals
- Manage vendor relationships, including sourcing, negotiation, and performance evaluation
- Lead purchasing operations to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services
- Conduct cost analysis to identify savings opportunities and improve financial performance
- Collaborate with internal teams to support project planning and execution
- Ensure compliance with company policies, contracts, and industry standards
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience in procurement, estimating, or supply chain management
- Previous experience in a construction industry
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Solid understanding of cost analysis and budgeting processes
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities
- Ability to work cross-functionally and support multiple projects simultaneously
