• Role Summary

Support Store Manager in daily operations, sales, team supervision and customer experience. Act as Store Manager in their absence. Directly responsible for shift management, floor discipline and achieving category-level targets.

• Key Responsibilities

A. Sales & Target Management

• Drive daily/weekly sales for assigned section gold, diamond, or high-value counter
• Own sub-category targets – e.g. bangles during Bangle Utsav, lightweight during Akshaya Tritiya
• Monitor hourly footfall vs conversion – push team during slow hours
• Handle HNI/key clients – big ticket closures 5L+ when SM is occupied
• Old gold exchange supervision – ensure purity check, KYC, fair valuation

B. Team & Floor Management

• Shift in-charge – opening/closing, roster, attendance, grooming checks
• Lead 15-20 Sales Associates – allocate counters, break schedule, live coaching
• Daily morning huddle – gold rate, offers, target vs achieved, focus SKUs
• Resolve floor escalations – customer disputes, pricing, stock non-availability
• Train staff – product knowledge: BIS hallmark, HUID, diamond 4Cs, new collections

C. Operations & Compliance

• Stock control – oversee tray-to-tray transfers, spot audits, variance tracking
• VM compliance – ensure counters follow HO guidelines for campaigns
• Cash & gold tally – assist SM in EOD reconciliation, vault procedures
• Statutory checks – weights & measures, BIS register, GST invoices, PMLA KYC for >2L
• Security protocols – CCTV checks, panic button drills, staff movement

D. Customer Experience

• Mystery audit scores – maintain brand SOP, NPS >85
• VIP appointments – bridal consultations, video call selling, home visits
• After-sales ownership – track repairs, resizing, custom orders TAT

E. Reporting & Coordination

• MIS to SM/HO – hourly sales update, stock indents, competitor offers
• Festival readiness – Akshaya Tritiya/Dhanteras – stock depth, staff planning, POSM
• Local marketing support – RWA events, society tie-ups, corporate connects
