Job Title: Warehouse Manager
Job Summary
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing daily warehouse operations, ensuring inventory accuracy, supervising staff, and maintaining safety and efficiency in the storage and distribution process.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all warehouse operations including receiving, storing, and shipping goods
- Ensure accurate inventory control and stock management
- Plan and coordinate warehouse layout and space utilization
- Supervise, train, and evaluate warehouse staff
- Monitor performance and implement improvements to increase efficiency
- Maintain health and safety standards and ensure compliance with regulations
- Coordinate with suppliers, transport companies, and internal departments
- Prepare and manage warehouse budgets and control costs
- Implement and manage warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Handle returns, damages, and discrepancies in stock
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar role
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Good knowledge of inventory management systems and logistics
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, inventory software)
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
- Several years of experience in warehouse operations or logistics
