Role Overview
We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with strong Snowflake expertise (Account Admin level) to manage and scale highly reliable cloud infrastructure and data platforms.
This role requires a blend of SRE + DevOps + Snowflake administration, focusing on system reliability, observability, automation, and Snowflake platform governance.
Key Responsibilities
SRE & Infrastructure
- Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability (SLA-driven)
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis
- Implement observability using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK
- Participate in on-call rotation and incident management
Automation & DevOps
- Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, or Go
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Manage containerized environments using Kubernetes
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation)
Snowflake Administration (Mandatory)
- Manage Snowflake environment (Account Admin level)
- Handle user roles, access control, and security policies
- Optimize Snowflake performance, cost, and resource usage
- Monitor Snowflake workloads and troubleshoot data platform issues
Required Skills (Mandatory)
- 6+ years of experience in SRE / DevOps / Cloud Engineering
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
- Strong scripting skills (Python / Bash / Go)
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins / GitLab CI)
- Strong experience in Snowflake
- Snowflake Account Admin expertise (Mandatory)
- Strong understanding of networking and security fundamentals
- Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code
- Knowledge of microservices and service mesh architectures
- Experience in Agile environments
