As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) at our corporate client, your role will involve managing and scaling highly reliable cloud infrastructure and data platforms with a focus on system reliability, observability, automation, and Snowflake platform governance. Your expertise in Snowflake at the Account Admin level will be crucial for this position.
- *Key Responsibilities**
- **SRE & Infrastructure**
- Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability (SLA-driven)
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis
- Implement observability using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK
- Participate in on-call rotation and incident management
- **Automation & DevOps**
- Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, or Go
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Manage containerized environments using Kubernetes
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation)
- **Snowflake Administration (Mandatory)**
- Manage Snowflake workplace (Account Admin level)
- Handle user roles, access control, and security policies
- Optimize Snowflake performance, cost, and resource usage
- Monitor Snowflake workloads and troubleshoot data platform issues
- *Qualifications Required**
- 6+ years of experience in SRE / DevOps / Cloud Engineering
- Solid experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
- Solid scripting skills (Python / Bash / Go)
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins / GitLab CI)
- Strong experience in Snowflake
- Snowflake Account Admin expertise (Mandatory)
- Strong understanding of networking and security fundamentals
- Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
For this role, it is preferred that you have experience with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code, knowledge of microservices and service mesh architectures, and experience in Agile environments.
