Massage Therapist (5yr exp req.)

Looking for an experienced massage therapist (minimum of 5 years) to join our team of like minded professionals offering Massage Therapy, Acupuncture, Nutrition, Coaching and Counseling. If you share a passion for making a difference in peoples lives, like to provide customized care instead of a set routine, are dedicated to building and maintaining a clientele and enjoy collaborating with others, we would love to hear from you!

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a licensed massage therapist.
• Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and patient assessment.
• Experience in a variety of massage techniques that may include myofascial, counterstrain, muscle energy, craniosacral, lymphatic, prenatal/postnatal care and competency with acute pain management.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on patient care and satisfaction.
• Ability to effectively communicate with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
• Comfort and ability to educate clients on recommended treatment suggestions and maintain high rebooking rates.

Responsibilities

• Perform massage therapy sessions using a variety of techniques as appropriate to alleviate pain and promote relaxation.
• Assess clients' needs and customize treatment plans to address specific concerns.
• Educate clients on the benefits of regular massage therapy and provide recommendations for at-home self-care.
• Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring clients' comfort and satisfaction throughout the session.
• Utilize knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to enhance the effectiveness of treatments.
• Manage acute and chronic pain through specialized massage techniques.
• Collaborate with clients to assess progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Adhere to all ethical guidelines and professional standards set forth by relevant licensing boards.
