Senior Accounts Payable / Receivable Specialist - HYBRID SCHEDULE - Contract

Our client, a local government office, is seeking a Senior Accounts Payable / Receivable Specialist to support their team in Washington, DC!!

Contractor will provide comprehensive Senior Accounts Payable / Receivable Specialist, including but not limited to:

• Process weekly sponsorship and grants payments
• Track all payments to program spreadsheets for accuracy
• Monitor and manage the AP inbox for urgent or sensitive items
• Ensure invoices are matched with purchase orders and receipts (3-way matching)
• Process high-value or complex invoices and check requests that junior staff escalate
• Prepare and review weekly payment runs (checks, ACH, wire transfers)

Contractor will deliver well-documented, efficient, and sustainable Accounts Payable solutions. Knowledge transfer through training and documentation is essential.

Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are mandatory:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google and large ERPs
• Graduate of any-four-year course, preferable Accounting
• Well-organized
• Thorough knowledge in Oracle application

Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour
