We’re looking for a Plant Manager to lead a high-volume manufacturing facility in Calgary.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced plant leader who has successfully managed end-to-end manufacturing operations and is looking to take full ownership of a facility, lead an established team, and contribute to continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Lead all day-to-day plant operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Ensure all production meets quality standards, specifications, and delivery timelines
- Oversee purchasing and materials planning, including forecasting and inventory management
- Ensure accuracy and quality of all incoming materials through proper inspection processes
- Manage and develop a cross-functional team, including production staff and customer service representatives
- Drive accountability, performance, and engagement across the plant
- Balance production priorities with customer demands and business needs
- Participate in and contribute to production meetings, providing insights and solutions
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies
- Maintain strong communication between production, sales, and customer service teams
- Ensure safe, organized, and efficient plant operations
The Successful Candidate Has
- 10+ years of manufacturing experience, including proven experience as a Plant Manager
- Strong background in fast-paced, high-volume production environments
- Experience managing purchasing, inventory, and production planning
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data tracking, forecasting, and reporting
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams
- Strong understanding of quality control and operational processes
- Ability to balance multiple priorities and make decisions under pressure
- Experience working with established teams and navigating different personalities
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills
- Hands-on leadership approach with the ability to delegate effectively
- Experience working with or improving operational systems or processes is an asset
