Job Description
Description of duties of a legal assistant/Paralegal
· Assisting lawyers in preparing for depositions, hearings, trials and conferences; completing many administrative tasks, including, working on individual cases.
· Investigating the factual evidence, conducting legal research, or case and preparing exhibits, charts and diagrams to display information.
· Drafting legal court documents, such as pleadings, motions, affidavits and subpoenas.
· Respond to discovery and propound discovery to the other party.
· Managing attorney calendar.
Organizing and tracking client files or case documents, including pleadings and voluminous discovery documents; creating and maintaining a case-management database.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.50 - $23.11 per hour
